Description : Hundreds of displaced people gather there, seeking refuge after fleeing southern Lebanon and the southern suburbs of the capital. Many believe the waterfront offers a safer haven amidst the turmoil. This dire situation stems from a renewed escalation in the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, marked by evacuation warnings and intensified airstrikes, forcing countless families to leave their homes behind. The ICRC, in partnership with the Lebanese Ministry of Health and the Lebanese Red Cross, remains fully mobilized to support healthcare facilities and ensure that the injured and sick continue to receive the essential care they need.
