Description : Semenovka was badly shelled and suffered air bombing during the period of May-July 2014. The zone of the hospital was severely shelled - as a result 13 out of 15 hospital buildings were destroyed. About 300 private houses were destroyed in Semenovka, in addition to this the hostilities affected a number of factories: a salt plant, a chemical factory, and a ceramics factory - They are no longer operational.

In Semenovka and other area of Sloviansk, the ICRC provided material to repair damaged houses and buildings in December 2014. At the same time, the ICRC had distributed the following in Sloviansk area: 29,000 m2 of glass, 20 tons of cement, 30,000 soft roofing insulation, 6,000 of bitumen and 40,000 m2 of roofing slates.

The ICRC also distributed food parcels to people of Semenovka.
