Description :
The centre treats those born with congenital disabilities, as well as those who have lost limbs or become disabled due to conflict or accidents. The seven orthopaedic centres the ICRC operates offer the only chance for the disabled and those with limb loss due to conflict to receive artificial limbs, physiotherapy, wheelchairs and assistance with reintegration into education, society and the workforce.
