Description :
The ICRC has a network of offices across Afghanistan to ensure it can respond appropriately to the needs of those affected by conflict. The Lashkar Gah office visits detainees, keeps families in touch with those detained via a phone service, conducts first aid training, runs programmes to ensure war wounded can reach medical care and assists families who have lost their homes or livelihoods due to hostilities.
