Description : The centre treats those born with disabilities, as well as those who have lost limbs or become disabled as a result of conflict or accidents. The seven orthopaedic centres operated by the ICRC across Afghanistan are their only source for artificial limbs, physiotherapy and wheelchairs, and for assistance in rejoining the educational system, society and the workforce.
