Yet, despite the destruction and the shock so many people suffered because of the war, they aren't sitting around waiting to be helped. "It is now the sowing season for many vegetables and we simply can't wait. The first thing to be done is to clear the fields from the debris and prepare them for receiving the seeds," says one of the farmers living in Beit Lahia.
