Description :
The overpopulation rate in the prison reaches more than 300 %. Around 2600 detainees are held in Antanimora prison for a maximum capacity of 800 inmates.
The ICRC renovates the kitchens and the washing-place, builts new showers and latrines and clean up the old ones to improve the living conditions of the detainees.
