Description :
Hawa wife of Doudou who left for Europe in 2005 by boat. He left three children behind but one has since died at the age of 20 of an unknown cause, which they attribute to a demon. Doudou managed to arrive in Spain but could not come back because he was there illegally. He took some time to get in touch with his family in Senegal, so at the beginning they thought he went missing. Recently he obtained his papers in Spain and came back home to visit in 2016. She was very happy to see him after 11 years but now he is gone again. She remembers him the most when she sees the other women in the village with their husbands. She participates in the support group organized jointly by the ICRC and the Senegalese Red Cross Society.
