Description : Mariama, mother of Bakary who went missing in 2006 when he was 26 years old. He went by road to Morocco and took the boat to Spain from there. His last phone call was on the 6th of January, and then they never heard from him again. She did not so far attended any ICRC/CRS support group.
Her brother and Bakary's uncle, Nfaly, who managed to get to Spain in 1999, is visiting in Colibantang. He is held up as an example of success in his town. He obtained Spanish residency papers and gets temporary jobs, collecting fruit and vegetables, in Spain. He has two wives and five children, and he sends around 300 euros per month to his family.
