Description : She arrived at the hospital in April as her daughter was just one month old. Due to complications with the injury, she had to stay in the hospital, with her daughter growing up in the ward. Unable to stand without the aid of crutches, she says she is worried about how she will care for her children when she eventually be discharged.

The ICRC supports the hospital by paying fees for patients who are injured within the context of violence in the province. In addition to direct support to the hospital, the ICRC gives a certain amount of money per day to patients and carers, to enable them to buy food, soap and other necessary items during their stay in the hospital.
