Description :
Only a third of Goma's people have running water; the rest of of the population has to fetch water from Lake Kivu every day or buy it from privately owned water trucks. The ICRC, in partnership with Mercy Corps, is restoring the city's water system, building and renovating pumping stations, and laying new pipes throughout the city.
