Description :
Only a third of Goma has running water, with the remaining two-thirds of the population relying on fetching water from Lake Kivu every day, or from private water trucks who sell water in communities. The ICRC is helping to renovate this pumping station, as well as constructing others and laying pipes throughout the city.
