Description :
Originally from another area, she fled her hometown 7 years ago to settle with her aunt, who'd married here, and who gave her a place to live and a plot of land to cultivate. When fighting broke out earlier this year, her husband and children fled towards Walikale, but the road to join them was blocked and she was forced to flee in the other direction. She only returned two weeks ago just as fighting broke out in a neighbouring town. Despite her small living quarters, she is now also providing shelter to her little sister's family - 13 people in total. Many of her neighbours are also hosting other families, she says. "My greatest wish is that peace would come here. Then everyone could go to their own home. Without peace, we cannot resolve anything.
