Description :
In the background, is Debora, who was wounded during fighting near Kisangani in 2005. She and her family had to flee when their village was attacked. She was shot in the leg and had to have it amputated afterwards. The ICRC provided her with physiotherapeutic support and a prosthesis. She currently receives care and fittings for new prosthesis when needed at the ICRC-supported Shirika La Umoja physiotherapy centre in Goma. She is married and has a young baby.
