Description :
The ICRC plays an important role in developing the South Sudanese Red Cross (SSRC)semergency response capacity. The SSRC was legally recognized by the South Sudanese government in March 2012. A total of 19 Red Cross emergency action teams are currently in place across the country, ready to support communities in disaster situations.
