Description :
This farmer was born and brought up in the al-Janoub region, north of Sa’eer town in Hebron governorate. He and his family raise cattle for a living. They live in tents, in small dispersed communities, with a lifestyle similar to that of the Bedouin, although they originally come from rural areas. They face hindrances and restrictions of all kinds in their daily lives, including access to water, electricity, telecommunications, health, education but also curbs on their freedom of movement. The ICRC monitors their conditions and works to improve the situation for them through dialogue with the Israeli authorities. In past years, the ICRC provided vaccination for their cattle and first aid courses for the residents. He was provided with a water tank mounted on a tractor trailer so that he can get water from the town to the tent where he and his family live.
