Description :
This 10 years old boy’s parents divorced shortly after he was born. His mother, who is of Gazan origin, returned to Gaza with him. A few years later, his mother re-married and he was handed over to his uncle in Gaza. Following a request from both his parents, the ICRC managed to organise all the necessary permits and arrange for him to travel from Gaza to the West Bank where his father was living. “The ICRC helped us reunite with my son. We never thought that we would be able to hold him again. We are so grateful to the ICRC,” says his father.
