Description :
This 69 years old woman is a mother of seven. Four of her children are being held in an Israeli prison. One of her sons was killed in 1994. “My journey with the ICRC started 30 years ago. They have never stopped providing me with help and services. Without them, I wouldn’t be able to visit my detained children.” She adds: “ICRC delegates always show compassion and humanity, their role is beyond description.”
She owns permits she received with the help of the ICRC that have allowed her to visit her detained sons. Without these permits, she cannot cross into Israel to see them in their respective detention facilities.
