Description : The virus arrived in Chiriaco in April with the caminantes (walkers), people who emigrated years before to work in restaurants or stores in the big cities, who returned home during the lockdown. In May, members of each family went to the nearest bank to receive cash assistance from the government. People from many nearby villages traveled to the city to receive the aid, but since most of them did not have their own masks to enter the office, they decided to share them among themselves. The following month the virus spiked.
