On November 2nd, Day of the Dead, the cemetery appears empty, because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The only people allowed inside are family members burying their loved ones. "This is the first time that I have ever seen the cemetery so empty on a day like this, it's the Day of the Dead! People should be celebrating and visiting the graves of their loved ones! It is sad, really sad, but we must take precautions for the safety of everyone.” says a grave digger who has been working in this cemetery for 15 years.
