Julia Ruth vit dans un quartier pauvre d'Apartadó, dans l'État d'Antioquia. Le conflit en Colombie dure depuis 45 ans, et peu de Colombiens ont été épargnés par ses conséquences. Julia, 60 ans, ne fait pas exception : elle y a perdu deux fils. Elle passe ses jours seule et est clouée sur une chaise roulante depuis un accident de la route.
60 year old Julia Ruth lives in a poor neighbourhood of the Apartadó municipality in Antioquia state. Over 45 years of armed conflict has spared few in Colombia. Julia is no exception and lost two sons to the violence. She spends her remaining days alone and confined to a wheelchair following a traffic accident.
