Description :
Shama'oun is part of a Christian Ashouri family. The family does the complete process from dyeing the wool, yarning the thread, weaving of the cloth to the tailoring of the traditional uniforms. The Ashouri Christian families are the only producer of the traditional uniforms as this kind of work was not considered as a respectable job by the mainly Moslem community.
