Description :
The accident happened in 1990, after the Nicaraguan Revolution was over, while he was planting beans in a field in Rosario. The accident occurred near the Nicaraguan-Honduras border area, a zone where the conflict was particularly devastating and where there is now the greatest number of mines in the country.
After the accident, he learned the trade of shoemaker and he is currently running a little shoe repair store in Jalapa. He has to walk 5 kilometers everyday to go to work from his house.
