Description :
The accident occurred around the Nicaraguan-Honduras border area, a zone where the conflict was particularly devastating and where there is now the greatest number of mines in the country.
Following the explosion, shrapnels remained stuck in her body, causing her several functional problems. As a result, she has lost the ability to walk.
