Description :
The accident happened near the Nicaraguan-Honduras border, a zone where the conflict was particularly devastating and where there is now the greatest number of mines in the country.
In the explosion, he got heavily injured in his back and legs, and lost the ability to walk. He has been using a wheelchair since then. He currently lives with his mother and an adoptive daughter and works as a community teacher in his neighborhood.
