Description :
Hassan is a fisherman and farmer from Ngourtoua, near Diffa. He has three children. His village has been attacked in September 2015. Hassan is in the displaced people’s camp in Ngourtoua now, but is afraid. He can no longer farm the land by the Komadougou river. “I can never go back to my village. Even if everyone else goes back, I’m staying here.” Hassan receives some humanitarian aid and has a small shop by the side of the road where he sells spices. “I’m going to try and start farming some land here. When the rains come, I’ll try and grow sorghum and millet.”
