Description : This deminer says that his grandfather was killed by a landmine in this same region while walking to his farm. The demining team cleared 15 landmines on this day and detonated them as usual before they left for the day. This deminer is also the paramedic for his team and carries a major trauma kit with him.
The HALO Trust is a non-political, non-religious registered British charity and American non-profit organization whose purpose is to remove the debris left behind by war, in particular, land mines, with nearly 8,000 mine-clearers.
