Description : The barber has worked in Beit Sira Village since 20 years, he has been renting his shop since then, paying around 130 NIS per month (old rent).

The barber, whose family is composed of 8 members, had monthly income of 2500 NIS before Intifada. Nowaday, his income has been reduced to less than 1500 NIS (before receiving the tools from ICRC).

By receiving a clipper, hair dryer, set of tools for barber and a bigchair, the barber's feeling became better (at least psychological). In addition, he expects an increase of his monthly income and in order to fix/improve the inside of his salon as well.

3'300 families live in the village of Beit Sira. Most of the men used to work in Israel but have lost their jobs due to restrictions on movement. In addition, the farmers have lost more than half of their fields due to a settlement that was built on their lands. 4000 olive trees were either uprooted or grow on the other side of the barrier.
