Description : The families of missing persons and all people from Ayacucho celebrate the “Day of the dead” by remembering the victims of violence which affected Ayacucho in the 1980’s and 1990’s. Under the slogan “Yuyariwayku (remember us), we will always be together”, the families started the activities walking in a procession from the cemetery until Huamanga’s main square. Then, all of them participated in a religious ceremony organized by the leaders of the Peruvian Episcopal Conference and the Peruvian Evangelical Council.
