Description :
In Darfur, the governement of Sudan carries out outreach programmes but because of the lack of access, the ICRC has taken over some of the sites in rebel-held areas such as Golo in Jebel Mara. In Western Darfur, Zalingei area, the ICRC covers seven clinics and tries to visit these places three times a month. This place in Abata, a governement-held area, has been refurbished in early 2005. A doctor from the Sudanese Health Ministry examines a child.
