Description :
Boniface Sibi, president of the local branch of the Society, checks that each person has received their share. Altogether, hundreds of families received supplies. Each family received two mats, two blankets, one kilogram of soap and a large aluminium basin. The soap and the basins were bought locally, while the ICRC sent the blankets and mats by air from its logistics base in Nairobi, Kenya.
