Description :
For this distribution of material assistance, ICRC staff and South Sudan Red Cross volunteers designated this facility for breastfeeding mothers and people with disabilities.
In September, the ICRC provided food and essential household items such as soap, blankets, cooking utensils, and mosquito nets to approximately 1,200 returnee households in Kuajok, Warrap State. Since April 15, 2023, when the war broke out in Sudan, more than one million refugees and returnees have arrived in various regions of South Sudan, placing immense pressure on the limited resources available, including food and water, as well as education and healthcare services.
