Description :
More than a million refugees and returnees have arrived in different parts of South Sudan since 15 April 2023 when war broke out in Sudan, putting enormous pressure on the meagre resources available, particularly food and water, but also education and healthcare services. Out of the estimated 3,000 households of returnees in Kuajok in September, the ICRC assisted 1,200 households, focusing on those who arrived in 2025.
