Description :
Singer worked from 1991 to 1995 in the limb-fitting and rehabilitation centre run by the ICRC. He had no idea that 10 years later he would again be helping war victims. More than half his patients, including many children, are cluster-bomblet and mine victims. He believes Muhammad, who has always been an outstandingly cooperative patient, should be able to live "a normal life" with his artificial legs.
