Description :
This centre used to be a former administration building of the Iriston Hotel in Tskhinvali. Vasiljevna used to be a school teacher for 40 years, she taught Russian and Ossetian. She moved there years ago, when her building was destroyed due to a fire. "I never thought my retirement would be like this. My health condition is such that I can't walk and need a cane, and I feel dizzy all the time. With my little pension I can't afford to hire someone to help me with some things I find difficult like washing myself". Vasiljevna is an Ossetian.
