Description :
The former water tank was situated in a mine affected area and posed a threat to residents who went to fetch water.
The two Chechen conflicts left this village virtually destroyed. Before the conflicts, there were 1914 households living in the village. Today, only 73 remain. The land in and around Bamut is mined.
