Description :
The ICRC gives out a parcel to a detainee twice per year. A parcel contains, for instance, food, vitamin supplements, hygienic items, undergarment, sweets, tea and cigarettes. In this photo, ICRC logistician Muslim Magomadov hands out a parcel to a beneficiary whose family member is being detained. Alternatively, for those families who can and wish to visit their detained family member, the ICRC refunds travel and lodging costs for four visits a year per detainee. Zura, whose husband is serving a sentence in a detention centre not far from Moscow, is collecting her parcel.
