Description :
27-year-old Shadi was injured while clearing an orange orchard contaminated by cluster sub-munitions (M series cluster sub-munitions with white ribbon). He and his family had to seek refuge in Beirut during the war. When they returned home they needed to irrigate the orchard in order to save the crop and orange trees. He had collected a box full of cluster sub-munitions. One fell through a hole in the bottom of the box and exploded causing his injuries.
