Description :
Gereida, which is controlled by the SLA-Z (a faction of the Sudan Liberation Army), received numerous IDPs after the villages around it were attacked or threatened. The IDP camp is home to about 90,000 people, some of whom have been living there for two years. The ICRC distributes food and water and runs a field clinic in the camp.
